Florida Harris-Walz and other Democratic leaders are on a rural tour of North Florida. They are stressing VP Harris’s plans to cut costs and the terrible effects on the economy if Trump wins
Wiley Nickel, Dianne Hart, Daryl Parks, Daryl Parks for state senate, and Nikki Fried, chair of the Florida Democratic Party, went on a tour of rural North Florida towns like Madison, Suwannee, and Columbia on Sunday to get people to vote.
Democratic officials in the area told voters about Vice President Kamala Harris’s vision and plan for “A New Way Forward.” They said that it would create a “opportunity economy” that would help small businesses grow, raise wages, and lower the costs of things like food, health care, and housing for Americans.
During his stops in North Florida, Congressman Nickel talked to more than 300 Floridians about the differences between Vice President Harris and Governor Walz’s plan for a better, more hopeful future and Donald Trump and JD Vance’s Project 2025, which will give Trump unchecked power to carry out his extreme and dangerous agenda.
Vice President Kamala Harris is talking about her plans to help the United States grow. Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s Project 2025 will raise prices, hurt the middle class, and cut programs like Social Security, Medicare, and the Affordable Care Act that millions of regular Americans depend on.
“People in North and South Florida are excited about the Harris-Walz campaign. I saw it for myself on this tour.” Congressman Wiley Nickel said, “I have seen Kamala Harris work for the American people when I went to her to help make it easier for people of color to get credit and start a small business.”
The decision is very clear: if Donald Trump is in office for another four years, he will give more money to billionaires and corporations while leaving working families with nothing. Vice President Kamala Harris will keep working to bring down prices on everything from rent to food so that every family has a chance to not only get by, but also get ahead.
“Voting for Kamala Harris will be a historic moment—not just for the communities she works to serve or her goal to create jobs, but it will also be the last push to get Donald Trump out of politics for good,” said Dianne Hart, a state representative.
“We won’t go back, so we all need to share Vice President Harris and Governor Walz’s plans in every county in Florida, even the quiet ones.”
“North Florida families are excited about Vice President Harris because they know she is the only one with a plan and the experience to lower costs,” said Daryl Parks, a candidate for the 3rd Senate District in Florida.
‘Vice President Harris is ready to lead us to win across the board, so we can keep our attention on the important needs of working families from Tallahassee to Washington, DC.
