In the U.S., disability payments are paid for by Social Security and the Federal Government. SSDI and SSI pay the most important amounts. The amount people can get varies on how well they meet the requirements.
This month’s disability check is due on September 11. But this payment will not be for people who get SSI. It will only be for people on SSDI who meet all the requirements set by Social Security.
