Deputies say that a guy is being charged with arson after a fire in Reidsville.
The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office said they were called to the 190 block of Trantham Road on August 23 around 8 p.m. because of a report of a disturbance at the same house.
Rockingham County Sheriff’s Investigators, along with the Rockingham County Fire Marshal’s Office and Safe Labs Forensic Laboratory Services, found that the fire was intentionally set.
Jonas Allen Strictland, 42, of Reidsville was taken by deputies.
He is accused of setting fires in the second degree.
No bond was set for Strictland when he was taken to the Rockingham County Detention Facility.
