Tropical Storm Gordon is an Atlantic Cape Verde storm that is far away.
It has been shown that a frontal zone that has been stuck for a long time will create a swirl of low pressure this weekend that will move to the north and northwest.
This zone extends into the western Atlantic, off the coasts of Florida and Georgia. There are more signs that it will turn into a tropical or subtropical storm early next week. It is expected to move into the South and North Carolina.
Next week, this storm could lead to a trend of drier weather in southern Georgia and northern Florida. There won’t be any direct bad results here.
This evening, there are no other places of interest being watched in the Gulf, the Caribbean, or the Atlantic.
