JERSEY CITY, N.J. – After looking into a report of a theft and sexual attack in a Jersey City flat involving two women, the Special Victims Unit of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office arrested three men.
There are many charges against Mohamed Mohamed, 24, Abdalla Abdelsalam Elsayed, 20, and Mahmoud Hegazi, 18. All three are from Jersey City.
Assaults on a sexual nature, theft, kidnapping, using a gun for illegal activities, illegal gun ownership, criminal restraint, terroristic threats, planning to rob, extortion theft, and computer crimes are some of the charges.
They were caught at their homes on Friday and are being held at the Hudson County Correctional Facility. A move to hold all three defendants is likely to happen on Wednesday.
Two women were raped and sexually attacked in an apartment on Bergen Avenue in Jersey City on September 11, 2024. The Special Victims Unit was told about the crime. The investigation showed that the three accused were meeting with the three female victims.
While they were at the flat, the women were held against their will and raped by the group.
