A person who gets Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) may not get paid again until September 25 if they haven’t already gotten their direct deposit for the month.
Disability payments will be sent to you on September 25 if you meet all of the rules set by the Administration. People who already got their September checks need to wait for their October payments.
SSDI to be issued on September 25 – eligibility
The next Social Security payment will be made on September 25, 2024, to people who get SSDI and whose birthday is between July 21 and December 31. If you were not born after the 20th, then you are not qualified, no matter what month it is.
Also, if you are getting Supplemental Security Income, you will not be able to get SSDI funds on September 25. Also, people who got benefits before May 1997 are not eligible.
You can actually get a check worth an average of $1,539 on September 25. Some people who make a lot of money can get up to $3,822 from Social Security. Of course, the amount of your payment will rely on how much you paid in payroll taxes, how old you were when you filed, and how many years you worked.
SSDI payment schedule for October
The October payouts will be made on 4 different days of pay. Extra Help from the Government will start giving to you on October 1, 2024, if you are eligible. On October 3, 2024, people who get SSI or SSDI will be able to get their Social Security.
If you began getting Disability Insurance benefits before May 1997, you will also get your payment on October 3. Then, people who get Disability Insurance will get three rounds of payments every Wednesday.
- Disability Insurance payment on October 9: birth date from 1st to 10th
- Disability Insurance payment on October 16: birth date from 11th to 20th
- Disability Insurance payment on October 23: birth date from 21st to 31st
Once again, the biggest payment that will be made is $3,822, the same as in September. The average price could go up or down by a small amount, or it could stay the same. About $1539.
