Welcoming three new board members to the UNC Health Rockingham Foundation

The UNC Health Rockingham Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to welcome Nathan Kelley, DPT, Ingrid McCraw, and Carlissa Wall as new members. They will serve for three years at first. The board is made up of business leaders and innovators, people who care about the community, and health professionals who want to help UNC Health Rockingham, its patients, and their care teams.

Board Chair Sam Phillips said, “It is important that residents who are informed and involved come together as we look for funding and make investments to make health care available in our rural community.” “We’re thrilled that Nathan, Ingrid, and Carlissa have agreed to join the UNC Health Rockingham Foundation Board of Directors. Their addition will help us reach more of our neighbors with high-quality care.”

The UNC Health Rockingham Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has been working with the local community since its start in 1996 to raise money for the hospital. The money goes to help patients, fund clinical scholarships, and invest in capital projects for things like buying new equipment, making the hospital look better, and more. The UNC Health Rockingham Foundation helps the hospital give all patients, no matter how much money they have, good care.

Nathan Kelley is a DPT who graduated from Duke University in 2022. He grew up in Eden. Nathan is a physical therapist at Protherapy Concepts, Inc., and he likes how his days are always different.
