VA Makes Progress in Reducing Veteran Homelessness, Still Much Work to Do

The most recent nationwide survey shows that the number of homeless veterans has gone down by 53% since 2010, from 76,329 to 35,574. There is still a lot of work to be done, but the VA’s promise to help people who are homeless is a good start. We’re making real progress in cutting Veteran homelessness, but there is still a lot of work to be done, as VA Secretary Denis McDonough said.
