ANTA CLARA, California – A Google software worker was charged with killing his wife by beating her. The house in Santa Clara has now sold for $2.1 million, according to the ad.
Silvia Tian, the listing agent, told KTVU on Thursday that this is a good move for everyone.
“Selling this property is helping everyone move forward,” she stated.
The Santa Clara County District Attorney said that when she listed the house at 714 Valley Way, she knowingly left out the fact that Xuanyi Yu was killed in January and that her husband, Liren Chen, 27, was later arrested after being found covered in blood in their home.
Yu’s head had been hit hard and she was found dead on the bedroom floor.
Chen is still being held without bail.
The husband and wife both worked at Google.

But Tian said she had to tell the new owners about the murder because the law required her to. The new owners do not want to be named.
“Of course!” Tian said when he was asked. “They didn’t care.” Their family works in the medicine field. Many close calls with death have been seen by them.
The Mercury News was the first to report the sale.
Tian said that the sale of this house will help both Yu and Chen’s families because their families live in China.
She also said that people who live nearby don’t like it when homes are empty, so she’s glad the new owners bought it.
