The next SSDI payouts have been confirmed by the Social Security Administration. In fact, they’ll be the last ones in August. Remember that you won’t be able to apply if you started getting Social Security before May 1997.

Individuals who receive both SSDI and SSI benefits will not be able to receive next week’s direct deposit either. After that, all SSA needs to see is proof that you were born on the dates they need.

Were you born from the 21st to the 31st? Social Security may send you a payment

People in the US who get SSDI benefits and whose birthday is after August 20 will get their Social Security payment on August 28. Of course, you had to apply for and be approved for disability payments after April 30, 1997.

People who get SSI won’t be able to get this Disability Insurance check because on September 3, 2024, they will start getting their Social Security. On August 30, 2024, they will get their SSI payment.

The next SSDI payouts will be made on September 18 and 25, respectively, to people who got payments on August 14 and 21. Check to see how much money people could get from the SSA on August 28.

How much money will SSDI beneficiaries obtain on August 28?

How much money people get will depend on how much work they’ve done and how many taxes they’ve filed. Millions of workers can’t get a big Social Security payment because they can’t work enough years because they are disabled.

Some people with high incomes can get up to $3,822, but most people get paid more often. Just so you know, disability insurance is worth an average of $1,401 as of July 2024. If you are a former worker living alone, you may get about $1,538 a month.

The average amount that a spouse or child of a retired worker can get is $421. If your SSDI check or direct deposit is less than usual, you should apply for SSI and SNAP (Food Stamps). This will give you extra money to pay for food and other necessities.
