Rockingham County couldn’t make the most of their home-field edge in the first game of the season.
The McMichael Phoenix beat them 2-0 on Wednesday, adding another loss to their record. The Cougars have lost the last four times they’ve played the Phoenix, so they haven’t had much luck late.
The win made it two in a row for McMichael and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both clubs are excited to have the support of their respective home crowds in the forthcoming games that they will be playing.
The Morehead game will take place on Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. in Rockingham County. Regarding McMichael, they will extend a warm welcome to Rockingham County on Wednesday evening at six o’clock.
