The Rockingham County Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Morehead Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
The attack for Rockingham County could be in trouble on Tuesday after what happened against McMichael on Wednesday.
The Phoenix beat them 9-0. Even though it’s never fun to lose, the Cougars can’t be too upset because they are ranked 204th in North Carolina by MaxPreps, while the Phoenix are ranked 33rd.
Also, Morehead scored some goals against Northeast Guilford on Monday after not scoring in their last game.
Their score of 5-1 over the Rams made it clear that they won. After the first half, when the score was 3-0, the game was pretty much over.
For the second time in three games, Rockingham County has lost. The win also brought Morehead back to even at 1-1-1.
When these two teams played last, on Tuesday, Rockingham County barely beat Morehead 1-0.
There’s a chance that the second game will be tougher for Rockingham County since they won’t be playing at home. We’ll see what happens now that the setting has been changed.
