The Mississippi Unclaimed Money Tour will be in Gulfport on August 29 to help people find and claim any unclaimed funds. Staff will be there to help in person, and people who can’t make it can still look online.

Mississippi Unclaimed Money Tour Stops in Gulfport: Free Help Available to Find and Claim Funds

The Sun Herald says that this week the Mississippi lost Money Tour will be going to Gulfport to help people there find any lost money. They want you to join them at Boozer’s Brew on August 29 from 10 a.m. to noon. The address is 802 East Pass Road. While the helpful staff helps you find and claim any money that might be rightfully yours, you can enjoy some free coffee.

 

Gov. David McRae wants people who can’t use computers or find the website hard to understand to come to the event. At past tour stops, lots of people have found money they didn’t know they had. The staff will help with the process of getting these funds back.

People who can’t make it in person can also look online for lost money. On the state’s website, they can enter their name and city to see if they are due any money. McRae says that about 10% of people have money that hasn’t been claimed yet, so it’s a good idea to check and see if you have any.
