Some disability beneficiaries have not received their Social Security check or direct deposit in August, others will get SSDI in September
After the August 2nd and 14th Social Security Disability Insurance Payments, there will be two more payments in the next few days or weeks. So, if you haven’t gotten your direct payment yet, it might be coming in a few hours.
Just so you know, this payment will not go to people who also get Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Besides that, if you got benefits before May 1997, you won’t be able to get any of the August SSDI payouts. That means you’ll have to wait until September.
SSDI payments in September
In September, the most that people who get Disability Insurance can get will stay the same. Disability payments will also be about $1,538 a month on average. But there will be more money coming in. See the full list below:
- S.S.D.I. due on September 3 for group 1: payment for those who started receiving Social Security before May 1997
- S.S.D.I. due on September 3 for group 2: payment for those who receive SSI and Disability Insurance
- S.S.D.I. due on September 11: Birthday from 1-10
- S.S.D.I. due on September 18: Birthday from 11-20
- S.S.D.I. due on September 25: Birthday from 21-31
- SSI due on August 30, instead of September 1, 2024.
