You need to have your EIN on hand before you fill out Form 2290 and pay your taxes. Don’t forget that you can’t do it with your Social Security Number.

Use the same name on your Form 2290 that was given to you with your EIN. This is another thing to keep in mind. Then, get the VIN number of every car you own. That’s all you need now: the taxable gross weight of each car. After that, use E-File and pay your taxes.
