Stolen Vehicle Pursuit Leads to Capture of Suspects in Tragic Carjacking Incident

True Crime News says that in Omaha, Nebraska, several teens have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of 64-year-old Uber driver Marsal Jama. This follows a shocking chain of events. On August 13, cops were called to Cady Court because someone had shot someone.

As soon as they got there, they saw that Jama had been shot in the stomach. Even though he got medical help right away, Jama died at the hospital. The killing happened during a carjacking as Jama was coming home from work. It was a sad end to an otherwise normal evening.

When cops found Jama’s stolen car, the investigation took a dramatic turn. Investigators finally caught the driver of the car they were after. Four people got out of the car, but the Nebraska State Patrol caught one of them while the others got away for a while.

Early on August 14, a resident called the cops to say that three teens were trying to get into their house. The suspects, who were between the ages of 11 and 17, were quickly caught and taken to the Douglas County Youth Center. They are now being charged with murder, theft, and crimes involving weapons.
