An EBT card worth $120 for each child can be given to each eligible family. This card can be used at grocery shops and farmers’ markets. If you apply by September 3, the money will be yours for 122 days after they are given to you.
For students who already get SNAP benefits, Medicaid free meals, or free or reduced meals at school, they will be immediately signed up for the Summer EBT program. To be eligible, other families must apply and show proof of their wealth.
New York City Public Schools is free breakfast and lunch until August 30 at places like schools, parks, libraries, and community centers for kids under 18 years old. You don’t have to sign up; just stop by to get a meal.
